AMY WINEHOUSE: A FAMILY PORTRAIT

From 3 July – 15 September 2013, the Jewish Museum is set to host a truly intimate exhibition of the late great Miss Winehouse. What’s more, the exhibition was co-curated by her brother Alex and sister-in-law Riva.

The family have given the Jewish Museum unprecedented access to Amy’s personal belongings that invoke her passion for music, fashion, Snoopy and more importantly her family.
Amy had very strong Jewish roots and this exhibition depicts this through unseen photographs of Amy’s family life including Alex’s Barmitzvah and vintage pictures of her Grandmother.

Located down the road from our byrose boutique, the Jewish Museum is sure to unravel the woman behind the music and makes for a great alternative night out.
